David Muir is a journalist and anchor in the US. The most well-known of his shows is World News Tonight. Its dramatic video footage and the animated movements has made it the top watched American newscast. Made In America has also been nominated for Emmys. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, it was his primary replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. Since then the anchor has been on numerous ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. His travels have taken him to all places on earth including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and much more. He has received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with honors and awards from the Associated Press.
