The eldest of four children. McCain completed her studies at Phoenix Country Day School. She also attended Xavier College Preparatory a Catholic private school exclusively for girls. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art History at Columbia University in 2007. She joined The View in 2017 and co-hosted the show until 2021. McCain was awarded 4 Daytime Emmy nominations. Her other projects McCain was a columnist at The Daily Mail newspaper after her three years on The View.
