Pickler was raised in a challenging environment. At the age of two she left her mother's abusive relationship. She came back into Pickler's world in 1995 when she took custody of her. But it didn't take place as expected. Her grandparents took care of her from the age of 12 up to the age of the age of adulthood. Pickler was unable to parent her children in their absence. Pickler said she didn't have time for studying, she began to learn how to cook and clean from a very early time. Pickler took part in cheerleading teams at both her high school and middle school.
