Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler on June 28, 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. When she was only two, her mother abandoned her to escape from her abusive husband. In 1995, she returned back to the world of Pickler, and took custody. But it didn't go as it was originally planned. When she turned 12, the court gave back Pickler to her grandparents - who took care of her until she reached adulthood. Pickler had to take care of her kids without parents. She revealed that she no longer had time to study and started learning how to be a homemaker in her early years. Pickler took part in cheerleading teams of her high school as well as middle school.
